Rare Tiny Miniature Victorian Thermometer Compass ShellThis is for a very rare victorian miniature cased compass and thermometer. It is the smallest thermometer i have seen, its tiny. The case is made from mother of pearl with brass mounts and the compass and thermometer are either side when you open it. They both work fine, the thermometer could do with a clean, i haven't tried to clean inside but both instruments are working perfectly. The case closes on a little catch and there is a little loop to attach it to a châtelaine. Etc. It is in good condition with just a little wear and it measures a tiny 29mm x 18mm.
