This is a circa 1940 met. Office pattern barograph by short & mason of london. It si in a mahogany case with hinged lid, glazed front and sides. The lacquered brass mechanisim is quite clean, the clockwork motor works well and the capsules appear good.

As you can see, the handle is missing one of its bolts, i'm not sure how difficult it would be to find an exact replacement or a pair that work as well. It measures 7 1/2 h x 12 w x 6 d. I will include a few new charst with the instrument.
