Vintage Compass Closed Face Dennison Case Bham 1918Grimbo store. A realyl good closed case compass. This compass was made in birmingham handsworth to be precise, in 1918. It has the clsoed case making it look like a watch. The case is marked dennison 1918 v1 and inside is the number 192654 w. It is a silver colour but i dnot know what metal it is, the case opens like a watch but you have to put your nail in to make it pop open, the face is so clear and floats very freely. All ni all a lovely item. 2 across.
